Why Integrative Health Coaching is Needed More Than Ever
(and how I learned the hard way.) To heal this world we are being asked to heal ourselves. To heal ourselves we are being asked to integrate all sides of us, and approach healing from a holistic point of view. Isolated, single-minded focus & old-paradigm methods leaves too much out. They can do more harm than good.
Examples of being a WHOLE person, let down by a one dimensional focus.
Have you been focused on your healing journey and experienced some of the following?
You are self-reliant, maybe too much. Do you have difficulty letting people 'see you' or help you? Do you operate largely on 'I can do it myself', or 'I have to take care of everyone else', but secretly you are suffering? Do you wonder if your independence has devolved into being walled off from the connection and support you deserve?
You have been devoted to your inner work, developing spiritually, and committing to spiritual practice. You thought you were getting somewhere only to be blindsided by emotional pain or old traumas 'you thought you already healed'?
You are often overwhelmed by how much you feel, drowning in a constant influx of information from your HSP (Highly Sensitive Person), empath, and psychic antenna. Are you not sure what even belongs to you, where are in the mix, or how you truly feel?
Have you been looking for the right support to no avail?
Have you had an aversion to traditional talk-therapy but felt like it would be good to open up to someone? Or, have you spent years in therapy and wondered if it plateaued, or was even making you feel worse?
Did you invest in a traditional coach, masterclass, or some other form of bright and shiny, ROO RAA self improvement, but ended up feeling more disillusioned, stuck, broke, and feeling worse about yourself?
Have you sought medical help? Worked hard on your physical health, sought answers, expert advice, spent a ton of energy and money on supplements, healing diets, or other health related expenses, only to feel like your health is breaking down despite whatever you do?
This was me. Every pitfall I listed and more. These one dimensional approaches are how I learned the hard way. I was stuck and miserable until I started to trust myself. I had to be the final authority on what was working for me. I had to have the courage and confidence to close the door to the people, techniques and viewpoints that left far too much of me out. I slowly learned how to balance my approach, and address my healing on all levels. I found a support system that truly supported me.
One thing I have learned beyond a shadow of a doubt, we are not lacking information. Quite the opposite, we are suffering from information overload! We don't need one more person claiming to have our answers. I don't have your answers, Royal, you do. What I do have is the training to hold space in an integrative, safe, and trauma informed way, one that sees your light, your beauty, YOUR WISDOM, and your brilliant individuality.
We can't heal (or rather integrative, because we are already whole) or move forward if any one part of ourselves is left out. Deep healing work is a combination of spirituality, positivity, emotional inclusion, mental empowerment and physical embodiment. This is why Integrative Health Coaching is needed more than ever.
If having your own Integrative Health Coach may be right for you, check outwhat I offer here.
I do not take the place of a trained medical professional, mental health expert, therapist or the resources a domestic violence advocacy center, or mental health center could provide. If you don't feel safe, if you feel in over your head, please don't wait. Seek the qualified help you deserve. <3
I am a Certified Integrative Health Coach. I am also a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Both of these titles reflect the same core values and training to support the WHOLE, and relate to you as the expert and sovereign of your own life.
